About Us
Baking has always been my passion, and after years of working in café’s across Dunedin and beyond, I’ve now embarked on a journey to bring dreams to life through my cakes and cupcakes.
Criollo Designer Cake’s journey started while I was on my maternity leave. I fell in love with the art of making different kinds of buttercream and moulding sugar paste to look like (almost) anything!
The magic that colourful piped florals can create on cakes and cupcakes is just breathtaking. I love to perfect the intricate ways of piping buttercream to create realistic flowers that you can enjoy on a plate. One of my best-selling products, the Cupcake Bouquet, is a vivid display of how enchanting these edible flowers can be!
I’ve always been attracted to the art of sculpting edible mediums, and my edible fondant figurines are a testament to this. The fascinating world of fondant figurines is yet another medium to make your cake dreams come true!
I love to share my skills and conduct buttercream floral classes as well as fondant figurine ones in Dunedin. You can visit our Courses page to send a request to join one of my Workshops.

wow. We ordered our 5th birthday cake from here. It will not be the last. The cake was delicious, looked amazing, we had a very happy 5 year old. The service is amazing, helped us to the car, allowed me to come back when I forgot a second person to help. Highly reccomend , I cant wait for another excuse to get another STUNNING cake
